How much does VEED cost in 2026?

The short answer

VEED costs €22 (Creator) or €47 (Pro) per user per month billed monthly, as of November 2026 per VEED’s pricing page. Billed yearly, Creator showed as €9 or €11 and Pro as €20 or €23 per user per month on different visits. The Free plan is €0 but watermarked, and Enterprise is custom. Paid plans include subtitles under a 50-hour monthly fair-use limit.

VEED is a full online video editor with subtitles, translation, AI voice, avatars and screen recording. Its price depends on billing period, seats (it charges per editor) and how much AI generation you need. If you mainly want captions, our VEED alternative comparison puts a caption-only tool side by side.

VEED plans and prices at a glance

Checked on 2 November 2026. VEED says prices are shown in your local currency where available (otherwise USD); these are the euro prices it displayed to us in the Netherlands, per user per month.

*VEED appears to be testing two plan line-ups. On some visits it showed Creator at €9 and Pro at €20 a month billed yearly (“save up to 59%”), with Creator listed at 10 hours of auto subtitles a month. On others it showed Creator at €11 (€10.75), Pro at €23 (€23.17) and a third paid plan, Studio, at €37 (€37.33) billed yearly or €76 billed monthly (“save up to 51%”), with unlimited auto subtitles on Creator. Monthly Creator and Pro prices were the same in both.

What do you get on each VEED plan?

Free is for trying the editor; Creator removes the watermark and unlocks 1080p; Pro adds 4K, unlimited subtitle styles and translation. All plans include manual subtitles and dynamic subtitles, according to VEED’s comparison table.

  • Free (€0): 720p export, videos up to 10 minutes, 2 GB storage, 1 GB upload limit, 10 minutes of auto subtitles a month, limited subtitle styles, no subtitle file downloads, and no watermark-free exports.
  • Creator (€22/month, or €9–€11/month yearly): no watermark, 1080p, unlimited video length, 5 GB storage, unlimited upload size, subtitle downloads, limited subtitle styles. Monthly billing includes 500 AI credits a month.
  • Pro (€47/month, or €20–€23/month yearly): everything in Creator plus 4K export, 50 GB storage, unlimited subtitle styles, unlimited auto subtitles (fair use), translation into 50+ languages and multiple brand kits. Monthly billing includes 1,500 or 2,500 AI credits a month, depending on the line-up shown.
  • Enterprise (custom): custom AI credits, centrally managed teams and data, review mode, privacy controls and a customer success manager.

What are VEED’s subtitle limits?

VEED’s FAQ says all paid plans include unlimited subtitle generation, subject to a fair-use limit of 50 hours per month. The Free plan gets 10 minutes of auto subtitles a month, and one of the two line-ups we saw listed Creator at 10 hours a month. Subtitle styles are limited on Free and Creator and unlimited from Pro up.

  • Subtitles vs translation: VEED counts translation separately, by minutes. Its FAQ example: subtitling a 30-minute video uses none of your translation allowance; translating it into Spanish uses 30 minutes, and each extra language another 30.
  • No rollover: unused translation minutes do not carry over to the next billing cycle, and neither do AI credits.
  • Downloads: downloading subtitle files is listed for Creator and above, not Free.

If you need captions in several languages, our guide to translating video captions walks through the options.

How do VEED AI credits and seats work?

VEED plans include a monthly or yearly pool of AI credits for generation features, and every editor is a paid seat. Its FAQ says the full allowance refreshes when your subscription renews, credits do not carry over, and you get more by moving to a higher credit allowance. Seats multiply the plan price by the number of editors in the workspace.

On yearly billing the credit pool is shown per year: for example, Creator listed 6,000 credits a year in both line-ups we saw. VEED also says it offers a free trial only for Enterprise customers with at least 3 users, and that you can cancel anytime and keep premium features until the end of the billing cycle.

Which VEED plan should you choose?

  • Trying the editor or making internal drafts: Free, if a watermark and 720p are acceptable.
  • Publishing subtitled videos in 1080p without a watermark: Creator, ideally yearly.
  • 4K, full subtitle styling or translated subtitles: Pro.
  • Short clips that only need burned-in animated captions: a caption-only tool costs less; see how to add captions without a watermark.

Strengths: VEED is a complete browser editor, with screen and camera recording, stock media, AI voice, translation and downloadable subtitle files, and it handles long videos. AnimateCaptions does none of that beyond captions. If you are comparing full editors, see our CapCut Pro price breakdown.

How does AnimateCaptions pricing compare?

AnimateCaptions is cheaper if animated captions on short clips are all you need, but it is not a video editor. AnimateCaptions, a browser-based tool that auto-transcribes your video and burns in animated, word-by-word captions, has no translation, SRT downloads or long-video support. As of November 2026, per our pricing page:

  • Free: €0, no credit card, 3 videos and 10 renders a month, videos up to 2 minutes, 1080p, exports carry a watermark.
  • Creator: from €6.99/month for 15 videos (€12.99 for 30, €24.99 for 60), up to 2 minutes, no watermark.
  • Pro: from €12.99/month for 15 videos (€19.99 for 30, €32.99 for 60), up to 5 minutes, 1080p and 4K, no watermark.

Plans are billed monthly with a 7-day money-back guarantee. Whatever you use, review auto-generated subtitles before publishing: the W3C’s guidance on captions notes that automatic captions usually need editing to be accurate.
